During the pandemic, many have seen someone go through a mental health problem or have experienced it themselves but were not able to get the full support they may have wanted. It's important to seek professional help when going through severe mental health issues and there are also things you can do in order to improve your mental wellbeing on a day-to-day basis.

Another thing you can do is take time off social media. As much as social media can be seen as positive in terms of staying connected with friends and family, there is a strong link between social media and the increase of mental health issues. Some of these issues include increased depression, anxiety, loneliness, self-harm, suicide, suicidal thoughts and the list goes on.
This all being said, let's all make sure we check up on our friends and loved ones from time to time. Even if they do seem to be happy, we never know what is going on inside of their minds.
