Tape hair extensions are thin strips of real human hair that come with special adhesive tape. They are applied close to your roots and blend with your natural hair, adding instant length, volume, or even a touch of color. Because they are lightweight and comfortable, they’re one of the most popular ways to transform your look.

Tape-ins are known for being quick to apply, gentle on your natural hair, and reusable. Unlike clip-ins that you take in and out daily, or sew-ins that can feel heavy, tape-ins sit flat on your scalp and look very natural. They are a great balance between temporary clip-ins and permanent extensions.

With proper care, tape-in extensions last about 6–8 weeks before they need to be moved up. The same hair can often be reused for up to a year if looked after well.

It’s possible, but not recommended. A stylist can apply them evenly so they blend seamlessly and don’t slip. This makes your extensions look more natural and last longer.

On average, 40–60 pieces (or 2–3 packs) are enough for a full head of extensions. The exact amount depends on your hair type, thickness, and the look you want.

Yes, you can swim and exercise with tape-ins, but you should tie your hair up and wash it soon afterward. Chlorine, salt water, and sweat can weaken the tape if left for too long.

They are removed using a special adhesive remover that loosens the tape. Our stylist can do this quickly and safely without damaging your natural hair.

Wash your hair with sulfate-free shampoo, avoid putting oils near the roots, and brush gently from the ends up. Sleeping with your hair tied in a loose braid or ponytail also helps prevent tangling.
