MEGAN THEE STALLION OPENS UP | ARE WE BLACK WOMEN PROTECTED ENOUGH?

by Deborah Mayisa on August 26, 2020

We are in a era where Black women need to be protected more than ever because from what we've seen, it doesn't seem to be on a lot of peoples list and it breaks our heart. This year has really shown us how much protection we Black women really have. From Black pregnant women, Breonna Taylor and many more and now Megan Thee Stallion.

We're often unheard, misunderstood  and seen as less but it has to change NOW!
There are many ways we can help support Black women.
Here is a few:

1. SUPPORT THEM

If they have a business, buy from them, give them words of encouragement because it isn't easy. If you can't buy, share with your friends and family.

2. LISTEN TO WHAT THEY HAVE TO SAY

To many times Black women are not listened to and sometimes leads them into thinking there's no point  in speaking anymore. Take time to listen and check up from time to time.

3. BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL

Society has made it seem like being a Black women is a curse or being Black is not beautiful. Make it an obligation to tell at least one Black women everyday "Your melanin is beautiful"💜
