Remember when you first got your Brazilian human hair extensions and were thrilled thinking the curls came from a Brazilian woman? Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but that hair probably didn’t come from Brazil.
I'm gonna keep it real with you. Most hair extensions you see labelled with names of exotic countries like Peruvian or Brazilian do not actually come from those countries. The truth is, almost all hair extensions are gotten from India or Vietnam. India especially, because they donate their hair for cultural reasons so there is a lot more hair available.
Before they get to you, the hair is of course processed and sanitised in a factory to make sure only the highest quality hair pieces are packaged and sold. This is why you may notice that not all extensions have the same quality. There are lots of low-grade hairs sold within the industry that are made from pieces of hair gotten from the floor at salons, mixed with synthetic hair, or even worse made from corpse’s hair. Often times the quality of the hair is reflected in the fact that it comes from many sources.
Now, most brands will not tell you all this because they want you to keep believing and paying for the false myth attached to those exotic labels but at To All My Black Girls we’re all about transparency and integrity. So, we just had to spill the tea. It is not important whether or not your hair comes from Brazil–what matters is the quality, not the label.
The quality of your hair is our biggest priority and when you your shop from us, you can be sure you are getting the best. We have consistent quality in all our hairs because they are sourced from one donor which is why they are backed by a 2-month warranty.
