Microlinks can last for up to 12 weeks but this is completely dependent on how well you manage to maintain them. With this in mind, it is important to note that our general recommended refit time is 4 weeks.
Microlinks do not require the use of heat, adhesives or any other harmful chemical. We hire only professional hairstylists who will make sure that there is no damage done to your natual hair. As long as you follow maintenance guidelines, no damage will occur.

Unfortunately, I only found the maintenance guide after the hair had already started to tangle. I wish I had seen it sooner to prevent that from happening. Overall, the hair was good quality.

Brazilian Curly- This texture is perfect for type 3A-3B hair types. The curls are full, bouncy and soft. It's also our most loose curl pattern and requires the least maintenance. This curl pattern is our most versatile texture.
Kinky straight(less)- Best for chemically treated, relaxed or permed hair. Also great for a straight blow out Afro hair.
Kinky Curls (medium)- This texture is perfect for a woman with type 3c-4a hair. The curls are looser than the coarse but perfect for manipulating into different styles.
Kinky Coarse(more)- The curls are tight and suitable for 4a-4c hair types. This hair requires the most maintenance and mimics Afro textured hair when brushed out.
Don't worry if your hair doesn't match the clip ins precisely because you can use heat tools or twist outs to match your hair perfectly. Please purchase our hair samples if you are unsure of which curl pattern will blend with your hair best.
Each set comes with one bundle equating to 100g in total. This could be enough if your hair is very full and the clip ins you are after reaches the same length as your natural hair. However, for most people, we always recommend you go for at least two bundles equating to 200g for a full look- particularly if you are lacking volume. For lengths over 20", 3 bundles may be required if your natural hair is considerably shorter. Just add two or three bundles to your cart!
Yes, you can, it's 100 % human hair. It's fine to straighten and curl the hair. Although we do not recommend doing such with our kinky coarse texture as you can permanently destroy the curl pattern. Please note just like any hair, too much manipulation can cause damage. Bleaching the hair can cause the hair to weaken and change its curl pattern. If you must change the colour, use hair dye not bleach or seek professional assistance.
Natural Kinky Curly Coily Coarse Yaki & Afro Microlinks Hair Extensions
I really did not want to have to write this review like this... I bought some micro links several weeks ago and spent a decent amount of money in hopes that the quality would be worth it. Unfortunately when the hair arrived I discovered at the hairdressers that the tips were unravelling with incompatible uneven shapes and extreme shedding. We put aside the unusable ones and I recorded videos and photos to send back to TAMBG for resolution.
After some back and forth they agreed to have me send the defected links back for replacement, however the replacements never made it back to me and there’s been no progress following up my enquiries about missing delivery. This is so disheartening as a first time experience and the tips I managed to have installed have been shedding so much that I have to hover my whole whole everyday (including my bed!) just to manage the situation.
The hair is nice enough, though the product itself if poorly designed and not fit for sale. I would discourage anyone tempted to purchase this until they rethink/improve their design process, not wanting anyone else to suffer as I am.
I feel shortchanged, robbed and taken advantage of after paying for something defected, wasting time trying to get a resolution and just not being valued as a human. I sincerely wish they reconsider their approach as I want to champion black businesses like these, and hope their promises and intentions live up to expectations.

I loved how much it resembles my hair texture and even the colour mixed well with it, it would have been perfect but the length difference is too much when my curly hair is at it’s full shrinkage so I think maybe going for 18/22" combination would have worked better. I’ve straightened the hair and the length looks a lot better and like my natural hair but the micro links don’t like to be straight for too long, when I next get paid I’m going to see if I can cut and layer the hair I think it will work out. I’ll definitely get them done again I love the versatility!
When I installed the hair it was gorgeous. But 2 days later Each itip kind of stays in its individual bunch, it doesn’t flow together with the full look, no matter how much you brush it
