My little 20 month old daughter’s hair has finally needed some sort of management. I have dreads and dads bald, lol. so not a single comb or brush in our house. Daughters mixed and she’s got very curly soft hair. With some detangling conditioner and this hairbrush hair is more manageable and got rid of the knots. Brush is bigger than I thought but it still works on her little head, is gentle and not too aggressive to her scalp and hair. Love it.
My daughter has thick long curly afro hair which I first detangle with an afro comb then a Denham brush which had wide teeth. I needed to replace it so I hoped this Detangler brush for thick afro kinky curly hair would negate the need to comb first to quicken the routine but unfortunately I still needed to comb first in order to get the brush through.
This brush is a great innovation. Works well on wet and dry hair- I highly recommend.Best to detangle in sections and watch videos first for good techniques.
I got this brush to use on my son's hair and it is incredible - doesn't pull or snag at all! So happy with it - couldn't recommend more highly!
